Having graduated from SCS after making a significant career change from the world of commercial banking, she well remembers the terrors of learning about service and all that being in the front of house entails. At the time she wanted to learn how to cook! And yet, some 20+ years later, with some significant life and business experiences, she is now happily a service person who loves the dynamic of a busy restaurant. There is preparation and then there is service. She loves the immediacy of service and  working in a dining room; every service provides its own challenges and results. She is looking forward to new adventures in her second year at SCS Kitchens.

A week long intensive sneak peek of the Stratford Chefs School’s

professional culinary arts program during March Break.

This hands-on intensive is perfect for anyone interested in examining a future career in the culinary arts. Successfully apply to the Stratford Chefs School after completing the Spring Explorer Course and have $400 applied towards the tuition for the Preparatory Course.

Monday, March 11 to Friday, March 15, 2019       10:00am – 2:00pm daily

Instructor: Eli Silverthorne        $400 per person (including HST)
