A message from Chef Baxter:
Since 1986 my weekend cooking classes have been about people who are interested in food and wine and who like the idea of spending the weekend learning new recipes and techniques and meeting new people.
We cook four menus over the weekend, two dinners and two lunches. Each class starts with a thirty-minute introduction to the recipes, special ingredients and techniques.
The class then breaks up in four groups; hors d’oeuvres, first course, main course, and dessert. Three instructors work closely with the groups to bring the menu together. Each group serves the course that they have spent the class creating.
There is a break of four hours on Saturday afternoon to rest, relax and explore downtown Stratford.
The weekend begins on Friday at 6:30 p.m. and finishes around 2:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
Sometimes people share the weekend, one cooks and the other dines. We provide all of the course material, food, wine, instruction, aprons and knives.

April 20 – 22
April 27 – 29
Inclusive of four classes, wine, course material and instruction $525 per person (+ HST)
Non-participant cost is $250 per person (+ HST)
