Ashley Burnie

Hometown:  Caledon, by way of Kingston

Summer Internship: Garde Manger/Entremetier at The Prune

Favourite Food: Burgers: of all shapes, sizes and orientations.

Favourite Kitchen task/position: Rolling tortelli and other repetitive tasks. I love the meditative aspect of it, in addition to the challenge of keeping pace, and consistency 🙂

Career goals/aspirations post-SCS: To grow and become the best chef I can be, while still pursuing my love of farming.

Fun Fact: I have a fraternal twin brother, who is younger then me by 6 minutes! I take every opportunity to show people his baby picture that I keep in my wallet.
