Applications for the Stratford Chefs School’s two-year cookery program are accepted year-round for Canadian residents.


1. Choose your program start date

Fall 2017 Application

Level One Start date: October 24th, 2017



U.S. Fall 2017 Application

Level One Start date: October 24th, 2017



Fall 2018 Application

Level One Start date: October 25th, 2018 (tentative)


2. Submit your Supporting Documents

After completing your basic application, please submit the following:

  • Secondary school transcript and proof of successful completion of high school or GED equivalent
  • Resume
  • Biographical sketch (750-1000 words) containing the following information: 1) your culinary experience to date; 2) why you are interested in cooking as a profession; 3) an estimate of your culinary skills at present along with an idea of which skills you need to develop; 4) where you see yourself both at the end of school and five years after graduation; and 5) why you have chosen the Stratford Chefs School

Successful applicants will be invited to an interview.

Applicants who may not have sufficient experience in the workplace may participate in our Preparatory Course to help develop fundamental culinary skills. This course is offered two weeks before the program start date.
