Since we can’t host our popular public group cooking classes right now, we’re (virtually) bringing Open Kitchen class – and a great meal – to your house!

We’ve adapted some of your favourite cooking classes into Open Kitchen @ Home meal kits with Video instruction, so you can learn – and eat – from home.

Try making Greek cuisine, explore the tantalizing Asian-inspired Steam Bun Meal Kit, or the flavours of a Mediterranean Platter; you can fire up the grill for the Ultimate Burger and learn how to sous-vide Steak.

There’s also the vibrant summer flavours of the Southern French Meal Kit – magnifique! You’ll learn about the “umami” flavour profile and savour the “first of the season” freshness of cucumber gazpacho, hand made tortellini, and puff pastry tart in the Umami Vegetarian Meal Kit. And on Saturdays, we have Sourdough Starter to get you baking bread at home. Authentic Mexican cuisine is also an option – buen provecho!

You’ll learn Stratford Chefs School cooking techniques and tips, while completing the finishing steps of our Open Kitchen @Home Meal Kits.

Chef Instructor Eli Silverthorne has planned the meals and will do all the prep; you just have to finish the cooking at home! All the chef-prepped, pre-measured, farm-to-table ingredients you need are packed in the kit; a detailed downloadable recipe booklet with full instructions, and video tutorials are provided.

Chef Eli’s video instruction will show you how to finish and plate your meal, and – if you want more – you can learn how he did all the prep as well!
