Chef Denis Hernandez has been in the culinary field for the last 15 years. He started at Niagara Culinary Institute, and began his apprenticeship at Peller Estates in Niagara-on-the-Lake, later moving to Waterloo Region to expand his knowledge.
Over the last decade, Denis has moved around Ontario and enjoyed the opportunity to work with – and learn from – some of the most talented chefs in the province. Chef Denis continues to strive to gain more knowledge and experience, and is thrilled to pass it on to young cooks starting out.
Currently, Chef Hernandez is Executive Chef at the newly opened 23 Restaurant Lounge at The Windsor Hotel, Stratford.
