Canadian Guest Chef, Alumni

Canadian Guest Chef Kris Simmons (Class of 2014)

Growing up, cooking was always an enjoyable time spent with my mom, together we would cook dinner for the family. This is where I found my passion for the culinary arts. I then enrolled in the Stratford Chefs School, where I built the foundation I needed to succeed. After graduating in 2014, I was fortunate to work with fellow alumni and great established chefs until I landed at Langdon Hall, where I finessed my skills and defined my leadership. After Langdon, my career took me to Janet Lynn’s Bistro and The Elora Mill. Now I am currently leading the culinary program at S&V Uptown in Waterloo, teaching and sculpting young chefs.
