Level Two Wine • Stratford Chefs School

Level Two Wine

The course will introduce students to the secondary grape varietals and explore the stylistic differences between varietals/regions. Each week a group of students will research an assigned country/region and will present information in class by becoming subject experts on assigned topic.

Tutored tastings as learned in Wine 1 will follow each presentation with continued emphasis on food and wine pairings during the tastings.

During the final weeks of the semester students will have the opportunity to taste the wines to be used in the winter semester labs and will make tasting notes accordingly.
