Attention Foodies! Our Open Kitchen cooking class program, led by Chef Instructor Eli Silverthorne, is running through September, and has something for everyone!
‘Get Cooking!⁠’ classes are intensive workshops focused on themed recipes, such as our classes on Vegetarian cooking, and a variety of International cuisines like SpainGreeceChinaIndiaIsrael, and others.⁠
‘How Do I Use That?’⁠ classes are informative workshops that demonstrate new-to-you kitchen tools or gadgets such as Knife Sharpening, Immersion Circulators for sous vide, and Smokers.⁠
‘Trade Secrets’⁠ focuses on exploring a cooking technique, dish or product, such as quick meals, the ultimate burgerfast fermented breads,⁠ pasta-making, and more.
Classes are hands-on and limited in size. Check out the schedule and book your spots early!

WHAT’S HAPPENING IN STRATFORD?

Our friends at Stratford Summer Music are hosting a toe-tapping, barn-raising, food-filled fundraiser event we know you will love!
At the end of Kelly’s Lane in Stratford, is a beautiful farm with an old stone house and a barn set on acres of corn fields. It is at this idyllic location the Juno award-winning quartet, The Fretless will fire up their fiddles on September 15th!!

On-site will be Ken’s Fries and the Bru Garden’s own vintage beer truck pouring their house made craft selections. Lady Glaze Doughnuts – brain-child of Stratford Chefs School Grad (and Business InstructorMark Brown – will be serving milk shakes and sinfully delicious doughnuts. Event host Martin Ritsma will be onsite grill master and Pelee Island Winery has generously stocked the wine bar.
