That’s a WRAP!
The weeks have flown by and our 16-Week Summer students are now in their final week of exams. As they present their Bistro projects, write comprehensive final exams, and complete their last Practical Cookery exams, they are giving it their all, pushing through to the finish line!

Now with a sound understanding of the methodologies of cooking under their aprons, our students have spent the last weeks of class participating in Enriched Cookery. Indian, Mexican, and Thai menus were cooked by our students. These International menus provided more opportunities for our students to understand world cuisines, work with a variety of ingredients, learn new techniques, and practice those techniques acquired over the past four months.
Menu Days afforded the students the opportunity to prepare and execute a multi-course meal during their Practical Cookery class. Each student was assigned recipes and took complete responsibility for the work they had been assigned. With a keen focus on seasoning, cooking times, and presentation, Chef Baxter and our students delivered delicious meals to lucky staff and special guests.
